I heard that I might not be able to receive financial aid for college if I obtained a medical marijuana card, but I haven’t been able to find anything on it.

Call the college admissions office, and ask them. It’s hard to say what their policy is on this. Honestly, I can’t see how they’d know or why they’d check, but I guess you never know.
