I’m interested in knowing more in the likes of PPM , I was told 1400 PPM per month is recemeded for most plants . 1400 does not seem like a lot considering my water ppm is 369 . 1400 – 369 = 1031 divided by 4 = 258 ppm per feeding per week . Can you give me more insight on this subject . fyi water temp being 72 deg , water ph6.3
Hey Jay, I enjoyed your show. Thanks for putting it out there. I believe the solution to your super soil issue has to do with your use of autos. The short cycle of your plants is causing issue with “leftover” nutrients. The soil is designed to be used over a 15 week veg/bloom cycle. I am not sure if you are using the bagged SS or the mixed version at home, but I would recommend making a batch with reduced Worm Castings, Steamed Bone Meal, and Blood Meal to lower the overall nitrogen level.

I know that my state of the art 1000w Grow Amp by Galaxy is having troubles firing my 400w EYE daylight bulb….sometimes it does….sometimes it doesn’t. Had to drive into RI to get it from a shop that carries Sunlight Supply. Trying to avoid driving back for a return. Is it bulb/ballast incompatability? Or bad ballast?? Too broke to go buy a 1000 hps, which is what I’d love to do. And it would end my experiment of trying to kill it with these 400 hybrid bulbs. trying to get close to a gpw
