In this video Jason interviews Dr. Mehrdad Barghian at the Marihuana for
Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) conference in Toronto September 2014.
Dr. Mehrdad Barghian is a very informative individual and event
facilitator. As Jason discuses cannabis as a medicine the topic of
“preventative medicine” was raised by Jason and supported by Dr. Barghian.
The main focus for this conference was to explore the knowledge base of
conference attendees and speakers.
Many of the good people Jason met while at the conference shared similar
views around the governments position that maruihuana has no medical value
yet continue to keep the Dr’s as gatekeepers to a medicine not listed in
the pharmacopoeia books.
I believe it is preventative and also believe it has more uses than just a
pain killer. He is a good guy tho, he has a specific task… and we need
more men like himself to explore other specific effects and combinations.
ALTHOUGH… I would much rather go with mother nature, than a bunch of
chemists mixing synthetic chemicals and fillers together to stamp out for
profit pills. Just my personal preference, others may have a greater
benefit from popping slow release pills…. mmmmm
