IQ is not based on linguistics but rather problem solving and thought process so keep your feeble attempts to sound intelligent to yourself

  2. TheDragonPoor says:

  10. Kobrag90 says:

I think a better correlation would be High IQs and depression, leading to drug use. =/

Less than a percent of drug users will not rid them of the stereotype, sorry. Also, the president is shit. The only reason he has the position is because of connections, and a slick tongue.

  17. kk2261 says:

I find this really odd because most people I see smoke weed happen to be dumbasses.

  18. bangurdead102 says:

    Meh, don’t give a shit.

Fucking smoke it or don’t, give it a shot or don’t it doesn’t matter.

  19. ThePalmnut2 says:

I think it’s imperative to exclaim the benefits of mary jane, and highlight the many medicinal uses thereof. Sure, I get stoned and start to feel guilty that I’m wasted, not amounting to anything, and wasted days ( and nights, like the song ). But booze isn’t any better and in fact- WORSE. Say negatives all you want about using mary jane, but you ain’t gonna win the argument with that beer in your hand and the disgusting burps!

  20. mindcr4ft says:

Smart people are experiencing life and gullible people read theories about it.

  21. Anti-Meta Man says:

I could have fit in with the “popular crowd”, but choose not too because of the exact reason the host believes drug users were somehow not popular. I would like to know what kind of bizarro universe she came from.

Pot use is not harmless. Studies do indicate there are negative side effects from use. Putting the substance aside, smoke itself is carcinogenic.

    Consume some other way.

  24. Matt Evans says:

neil degrasse tyson mentioned something really quick once about smoking weed, i cant remember what video it was one. i think it was one of his many appearances on the Colbert Report

  25. Anti-Meta Man says:

Pretty typical response from a user. I’ll stick to reality. I don’t need drugs to see the world in a different light I have something called imagination.

  26. ChrisMathers3501 says:

I try. I just wish I coulda’ been a better friend while he was around.

  27. tristessa771 says:

That’s assuming the electro chemical processes in the brain that are *already* happening are the only things that are real. Is the satisfaction of drinking cool water after a long day in the sun “real”? Or the satisfaction of spending time with loved ones? Or the way you have found to deal with hard times in life? As in you get yourself to believe going through this tough time will make you stronger and rise above the pitfalls others fall into. If chemicals make up experience, what is real?

  28. danweed19 says:

I have a friend who is a near genius and he smokes weed everyday and also does shrooms and lsd and ecstasy occasionally. Hes only 15 years old too….. like what

  29. Anti-Meta Man says:

I know because I have been unfortunate enough to know many chronic pot users. They are by far some of the most boring, unimaginative people I’ve met. Most of them have very linear personalities. It seems like they never shut up about using. It’s always a part of their identity some how.

  30. Anti-Meta Man says:

That would be called a straw man argument my friend. I am not claiming to be knowledgeable about drugs. What I am claiming is to have known many users both before, and after their use. Based on that I can say that they are not any more open minded, or intellectual after their use. What they did do though, is talked A LOT about smoking up.

  31. DonDenny13 says:

    God Da** Gina!

  32. steveb0503 says:

This makes perfect sense – ignorance is bliss and all (sometimes the superior ability to discern the actuality of reality can be something one might want to escape from time to time).

  33. SAM MASK says:

She’s hot. I’d lose myself in her chest

  34. Anti-Meta Man says:

Ya, I still can’t agree with the study. Like yourself, I find the idea of determining whether, or not an individual is intelligent via a test is ridiculous. It only takes a matter of seconds for someone to have a life altering experience, or epiphany which completely makes any prior testing irreverent.

  35. MetalicSlayer666 says:

LEGALIZE IT AND DONT CRITICIZE IT!

  36. tejassood says:

What the hell i know so many potheads and they are not smart

  37. FireShield95 says:

I have an IQ of 149, I’m in college, and I’d never smoke weed, drink, smoke, or do other drugs.

  38. NakedBabiesProd says:

The most intelligent people I know smoke marijuana. I, not to be pretentious, consider myself a person of quite high intelligence, and I have enjoyed cannabis a great amount in the past. I found that marijuana increased my creativity tenfold and opened my mind, allowing for a different, more open-minded perception of the world. But, I am dubious about the study, given that it’s from 1958. On the other hand, many intelligent people, like Barack Obama and Carl Sagan, were avid marijuana users.

  39. kevin sarno says:

Marijuana, aside from many benefits medically, is a great drug as it helps those who are distracted by this debtor society to remember that we are more than flesh and bone. It allows those who use it to open their greatest gift ( their brain ) and push the scientific boundaries of what is and can be possible. The ability of this drug to free ones mind to look at all sides all perceptions and take into consideration everyones best interest is why certain governments do not wish to legalize it.

  40. Anti-Meta Man says:

    Sugar =/= drug use

It’s nearly impossible to avoid sugar consumption, because it is in anything processed. I do avoid it as much as I can though.

  41. NodrogTrax says:

This is a weak theory based on a flimsy correlation based on dubious statistics to begin with. This is a pointless topic merely used as a segue to heavyhanded and self-congratulatory sermonizing about the injustice of drug prohibition. Present a false correlative theory, then indulge yourself in some empty political propaganda as to why the imagined connection exists, even though it does not.

  42. ChrisMathers3501 says:

Hell, I’M lucky to have known the guy, just wish we’d hung out more and fought each other less is all.

But back to the topic at hand, the reason I don’t recommend alcohol but DO recommend pot is this: both substances de-inhibit you (so you flex muscles sober people DON’T have), but pot only does it for your thoughts and replaces your inhibitions with healthy paranoia so you deliberately control yourself, whereas alcohol de-inhibits your actions, can give you false confidence, and make you act.

  43. Zentella6 says:

I like to think more intelligent people smoke cannabis is because, they know that it is not dangerous and in fact, it has a lot of benefits.

  44. Jason Fee says:

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not in the anti-weed band-wagon, but I really don’t like the phrase: “Weed isn’t a drug.” Actually, it is. It doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. A drug is defined by anything which alters the metabolism of your body, the total collection of reactions which are happening in your body, and weed certainly falls into that category.

  45. Meta Knight says:

    “Studies”

  46. Adrian Christ says:

There’s a massive difference between people who smoke weed and the dumbasses who obsess over weed.

  47. ChrisMathers3501 says:

Ah Hell, our government IS our enemy. They DID pretty much say so during the whole Snowden NSA witch hunt. But even we’re not the worst. I once saw a video out of China of some uniform-wearing subhuman savage who deserved to be mustard gassed going around murdering handcuff-bound suspected drug dealers with an AK-47. At least our government makes a point of pretending to be civilized. But we’re taking our rights, state by state, and winning the War For Drugs.

  48. m0arpheus says:

Though I agree that it’s a great point that life should be approached from multiple perspectives to experience a more prismatic and dyanmic existence, I don’t believe you have to ever take drugs to get to that point. You could read a beautiful book, you could see a gorgeous waterfall, you could be in the hospital with a loved one, you could witness a charitable act – regardless of what the catalyst for a change of heart is, it. like you said, invariably comes from the world we experience.

  49. OntDinRS says:

As an intelligent person, I feel that my wish to smoke weed has stemmed from the dullness of the people around me. I feel like everyone around me is too wrapped up in their own retarded shit. Because of this I have to constantly be aware of what I say, in case I say something that is too intelligent and then people look at me as if I’m talking bat shit crazy sci-fi nonsense. I want the weed to just chill the fuck out so I don’t have to feel so highly strung around other people.
