Pentane and hexane are very much like butane, but they have slightly higher
boiling points and don’t really need to be stored under so much pressure,
which makes them safer- although they still form potentially explosive
vapor clouds. They take a little longer to evaporate clean, but they will
in time just like butane. You can speed up the final step with a hairdryer.
They will give you oil that looks like cold honey: thick, syrupy,
translucent and golden.
They will also extract at room temperature.
