Medicinal Marijuana
crazey_craker asked:

I live in texas and i am wondering if it is possible to get a marijuana prescription for my glaucoma. Could i have a california doc write the prescription and fill it or could a texas doc do it and if so any one know a doc to do it?

no, as drug companies cannot get a patent for a natural product they cannot make enough money off it so it will always remain illegal

This is from a doctor who used to practice in Texas (and still lives there). Sorry, if you use marijuana in Texas, even if you have a prescription, either from a Texas or California doctor, you are still breaking the law. Texas has no provision for medical use of marijuana; any possession of it is illegal. (However, if you had only a small amount, and were using it in the privacy of your own home, unless you invited a cop in (or he came in with a warrant and you had it in plain sight), and never used it outside, not even in your car, I don’t see how you could get busted–unless your job requires you to have drug tests.) Please note, however, I am not advocating the breaking of any law, and am not trying to give information which would aid in the breaking of any law. (Sorry, just had to get that disclaimer in there.) No pharmacy in Texas has the ability to fill a prescription for this, anyway. (There used to be a drug which contained THC for use in medical diseases, like that of which you speak, but the DEA took that off the market, too.) In essence, unless you move to California or Oregon, you’re screwed.
