Ecstasy can help people with depression, but it can also make it way worse
if you abuse the drug, but that goes for most things I guess

  2. Castratedd Squirrell says:

I am addicted to krokodil. The high outweigh the cons.

  3. Aubrey Ladan says:

legalize it, regulate it to ensure a drugs purity and volume to prevent
overdose, and tax it, plus handle abusers separate from criminals, instead
sending them to addiction treatment and rehab versus prison. and you will
have a lot of extra cash in Canada at least, to spend on things like
    hospitals and schools.

  4. Natalie Prideaux says:

There are also a shit load of side effects that aren’t pleasant eg,
suicidal tendencies, heart failure that come with ‘prescription medication’
    HA

  5. EnthalpyH says:

Now on the video of 5 Legal drugs that are fucking terrible. All the SSRI
antidepressants that increase suicidal ideation. And doctors prescribe
    these like fucking candy!

  6. JAVPC2012 says:

i only get anxiety when i smoke pot so not sure what they are talkin
about!! And i think the only reason u are not anxious when u take asid is
cuz your mind is obviously gonna be on other things!

  8. phyrath5 says:

First of all I do not care to try any of those, I don’t need medication & I
don’t want to get high. Second IMO it should all be legal, even for
recreational use. Third banning something for the sake of protecting
people from it isn’t protecting them from it, it is an attempt to protect
people from themselves. Does anyone honestly want to live in a society
where your freedom is restricted or even totally rescinded because the
government says that you can’t be trusted not to harm yourself?

  9. Matheus Fernandes says:

Fuck u guys! Still to see an unbiased informative video on anything from
you, always using inconclusive “studies”, to prove points that has nothing
to do with it in the first place.

Coming from someone who has had a incredibly detrimental trip on LSD,
resulting in two months of in-patient therapy in a psychiatric ward, I
would not go as far as saying LSD, or nearly any other chemically
manufactured psychoactive drug for that matter, is “medicinal”. They may
have some medicinal properties, but calling them dangerous and harmful
still holds just as much as water as calling them medicinal. They’re just
drugs. Maybe a little medicinal, maybe a little harmful. But for me, I had
over a dozen trips prior to that final and awful one and all I can say is
that stuff can be extremely spiritually and cognitional toxic. Just my two
    cents

I have anxiety but I refuse to take drugs for it. :/

    “tripping”

  17. Tony Droid says:

Maybe but only for special circumstances

  18. Kagemusha08 says:

The idea that pot and mushrooms are somehow more damaging to the human body
than alcohol is just stupid. Even if you don’t have any desire to take them
there’s no reason why they’re illegal. Those restrictions came from
lawmakers who saw non-whites as second-class human beings. How anyone can
take them seriously is beyond me.

  19. gypsyheart79 says:

Some studies have shown that marijauna is helpful not just when smoked but
also when you juice the fresh leaves. You don’t get high from the juice and
it eases symptoms from a laundry list of health issues. I don’t want to
smoke it, I like my lungs just the way they are, but taking it either way
could make huge changes in my quality of life.

  20. ecwfan3052 says:

Too much regulation is never a good thing. Some drugs like MDA and shrooms
should be legal under prescription only while something like weed should be
    allowed as recreational as well.

  21. DNews says:

5th? Why am I even playing this game?

  22. HitomiAyumu says:

Irrelevant. The government has no right to prevent you from consuming what
    you want.

  23. Transhumanism [h+] says:

I think weed, shrooms, DMT, peyote, ibogaine, etc are good. Basically
    anything that is natural.

  24. thepaystation says:

People need to understand the word “medical” and remember that you only
need medical items if you are sick or need them because you have health
    issues

  25. Efflorescentey says:

  28. Richard Schreck says:

Drugs are good, m’kay? So, do drugs because drugs make you feel good,
    m’kay?

  29. Toria Mcphuck says:

I’ve had worse side effects from drugs my doctor has given me than illegal
    ones.

  30. POVgames says:

our legal system is the most immoral thing I’ve ever seen >.>

  31. TheSalamanderAnder says:

    Dang, we said psilocybin simultaneously.

  32. Klaty says:

Yes, we do get your joke Cristen.

  33. JGuilhermeFerreira says:

LSD is good for several reasons.

  34. Matthew James says:

What are the negative side effects of weed? You kinda left us on a
    cliffhanger there…

  35. Koshunae says:

I believe that all of the “drug” related substances should be legal for
medicinal research, under close supervision of course. Except for like
Heroin and Meth and drugs like that. Obviously there are no medicinal
    benefits to be had there.

  36. princeofexcess says:

“hence them being classified…” ha! The reason drugs are classified as
controlled substances has nothing to do with the side effects. A lot of
drugs are illegal because of stigma and racism (opiates because of racism
against chinese marijuana because racism against mexicans) And later the
drugs were further criminalized because nixon needed a distraction from the
vietnam war. LSD made it onto the list because it supposedly killed people,
which was of course not true but it was banned anyways because who needs
facts when you have bureaucracy. You can get much worse drugs prescribed by
your doctor if you complain about headaches or back aches enough.

  37. shamanahaboolist says:

Damn Cristen… looking good. Professor Boyfriend is one lucky dood 😉 And
totally these drugs have massive benefits. I think it is highly suspicious
why so many readily available easily grown and produced drugs with clear
medicinal properties are illegal. It’s almost like the pharmaceutical
industry had some lobbying influence or something…

  38. Kenneth Correa says:

there is always something good and bad about drugs. As long as you are over
18 or considered an adult and you are informed about the benefits and side
effects on drugs the government should piss off and get out of our lives.

  39. daveqqqq says:

    Everything in moderation

  41. sp00nman88 says:

Wow! No Shit! Who knew a dissociative drug (LSD) could disassociate
yourself from your world, and your mortality. Wow. GROUNDBREAKING! All
these drugs should be legal. We have tobacco and alcohol, both of which are
highly addictive, and have NO medical benefits – LEGAL – But yet all these
“illegal” drugs have tons of medicinal benefits, yet – ILLEGAL. Fucking
    feds.

  42. GreatPirateSolomon says:

Nice segment, I was hoping to hear something about ibogaine though.

  46. Ben CLB says:

I use Psilocybin for my cluster headaches works like a charm they should
defiantly be decriminalized and taken under controlled lab setting.

  47. Katie Dubbs says:

Cristen, are you going to be a permanent addition to DNews? ‘Cause I would
    like that!

  48. Angelo James Mordini says:

The negative side affects if weed is like loss if Brain cells after abusive
    use of it right?

  49. Sigmaairav says:

I am personally against legalization of all drugs however, I do see where
other people are coming from when they say that regulating them like
alcohol and tobacco would be the way to go for any substance thus, the
underground drug market would be defunded, tainted drugs(any drug that is
laced with other potentially harmful chemicals) would become much less
common and regulations would make sure the harder drugs like heroin are
    restricted to safe levels.

I feel that drugs like heroin, krokodil, and cocaine need to be highly
regulated or they should remain illegal simply because of the dangers of
taking them. Drugs like weed, LSD, shrooms, and DMT I feel should be
totally legalized for recreational use and treated the same as tobacco and
    alcohol by regulators.

In my honest opinion, if America legalized and regulated these drugs , it
would jump start the economy, lower crime rates, and potentially promote
    peace.

  50. Richie Coto says:

Idk if there ‘good’ but the legal ones are for sure NOT good, they’re
actually pretty bad and kill thousands.
