Look at all the movies, commercials, every day jokes, etc… about marijuana …. and then look at the MARKET centering the culture. If the government made it legal and advertised we’d be out of this financial slump in no time!

Man, it’s the government.. they are the last thing that would relate to the American public.
I’m not baked right now, but they will never do it, because it would make people happy… and the government would never want that.
I think you said it all….you’re half baked, and you aren’t terribly coherent, or at least YOU don’t think you are….why would the government allow us to turn into a bunch of half baked incoherent slugs???

If the American government felt that marijuana was a drug that could be used responsibly without doing harm to others, then there would be no such laws that outlaw its use with the exception of a “doctor ordered” prescription. The government so far has stood by its decision to make it illegal. So the fact that it is still outlawed says to me, the government hasn’t heard the people. I do not want marijuana legalized because the effects are harmful, and many have not proven to be responsible in its use. I do not condone anyone who uses it, and I am so far pleased that the government has not thought of revoking the law.
