“how many plants is a felony?” – You did not say in what state, however in many it would only take one to catch a manufacturing charge.

This website supposedly gives you the marijuana laws on a state by state basis.
However, what you need to be aware of is the Federal Statute because if your state has more lenient laws regarding possession of marijuana and any plant parts, than the federal statute, that’s what one is likely to get busted on. I have read that having just one plant, regardless of size, is enough for a federal felony.

YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF HAVING PARAPHANELIA AND THEM FINDING IT THAN A PLANT….THATS WAY MORE SERIOUS…B/C YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE
