Minimum Wage does not create unemployment. Unemployment is created by lack of demand, which is because the commonwealth has had their spending power sapped from them via regressive taxes and stagnant wages.
That is the purpose of minimum wage! It was implemented to eliminate the cheap labor of the south. Congressman knew they were putting blacks out of work.
No Democrat president has ever crash the economy.

Black teens are part of an overall unskilled labor force, which is supposedly destroyed by a minimum wage, which is silly because these large corporations that own the chain stores which use the minimum wage are sitting on massive profits, they are just not investing it back into wages.

You sound like Grover Norquist. The minimum wage is there to see that workers earn a livable wage, and it is about time we increased it again. I wish Obama would go further than $9. Make it a flat $10.00 and address the greatest wealth inequality we have ever seen in the course of this Union.
