Really depends on how much you grow and where you live.
In what State? In CA, cultivation or growing is a felony punishable up to 3 years State Prison… depending on the amount of weed. Large amounts of weed will increase the sentence significantly. Sales carries 3 years, as well. This is for one count only.
too many variables right down to the judges’ mood at the time
Depends on your state’s laws since they differ. Depends on your age, your past criminal record, the amount you were growing. It also depends on whether the state is charging you or the feds are charging. Federal drug terms are usually harsher than most states.
I’d honestly say it depends on your location and what was the intent of growing it to start with, selling it or using it for your own reason ???
