what is the lowest temps you can run without causing stress, or any other issues? My temps at night without lights on run around 64, is this something to worry about? I am a new grower and appreciate any feedback

will it kill em no, is it best no i would say mainly cause when your temp varies by 10 degrees or more during a day which i assume it is if getting to 64 at night, the varience can cause mold issues and attracts bugs. People will put plants at 65 degrees to help bring out colors in late flower so would i really worry; no. So long as im being proactive using a go gnats or azamax. id try to get the daytime temp no hotter than 72 and allow it to keep hitting 64. summer coming;)

the coolest I can get is 81 under a 600 hps cool tube, my intake is run from under the porch since in the summer the shade will be cool, I am nervous because the temps outside here have been in the mid 80s already so I am not sure what to expect this summer, at night the temps outside drop and is cool outside, I am on a no money budget and I was thinking of investing in a small ac unit that will fit nicely into a 3 by 4 area I built in my closet, or change my light cycle to evening suggestions?

yes if you still can switch light on and off do it. Lights on at night best when hot. 600W in 3X4 is plenty strong just invest in a good fan 12.50 will get you a honeywell .. if you can get a/c do it the more control you have of the elements your plants are exposed to the better you can be. Home depot usually has cheap window units for round 150 and will freeze out the room if you wanted. Might wanna get Silica-blast from botainicare it helps plants handle high temps or low temps better.

man somone guys can realy over complicate things. once u get your basics down down pat 100% it becomes very easy. forget all your ideas, listen to your plants and garden, and follow basic guud farming techniques and you will go along way, dont listen to hydro stores tehre trying to sell you more more more when it realy takes les less less
