I like my Chinese tent, there are a few problems, like the zipper has shitty stiching at the ends so careful not to pull it off when u zip it up. The air intakes at the bottom don’t stay open. The poles are shitty to try and figure out ways to hang stuff..hose clamps or jimmy rigg it. Extension cords needed. But when I have the 600 blasting, It’s Freaking bright in there..
I am less patient – I’d be cutting that tent into bits and tacking it to a 2×4 frame in the center of a room so I could fold up the walls and access from all sides.
Other thing that increased the natural bush minty flavor was Aquasol fish emulsion, just a half teaspoon into the grow liquid. I used Simple Grow, the one for leaf cycle, 18 hours and the one for flower cycle, 12 hours. Produced amazing quality weed. Those dealers in that area must have hated me, because I bought none off them after the first three months. Had a continuous supply always. And saved heaps of money. Plus not supporting any criminality.
I like pallets to get off the floor, add four legs you got a table. I’m sure you’ve heard, the foil sucks goat ass, its a fire hazard, if a light falls or sum shit, foil traps heat, makes hot spots.. great video.
First year I used soil, then bought a fifty buck hydroponic thing the year after, the next two years, I used pure rinsed cat litter, name of the brand, NATURES CHOICE. It worked better than the rest and didn’t get any moulds or nasties. Only reason I gave it up in the end was the cops knew I had it, they saw it in my room, so would you trust them? I didn’t.
I don’t like when they dry it 100%. That makes it brittle and destroys all the menthols and that group of chemicals. I read some where to leave 3 to 5% moisture still in when drying or curing, the final result is a much smoother tastier smoke. If someone is a herbalist or gardener, then they will be able to taste all those beautiful elements so neatly in Cannabis. But when its dried 100% all those fine parts in the taste are gone. Retaining moisture when drying, preserves its naturally.
I’d go with the tents all day, for simple convenience the only draw back as far as I’m concerned is heat, but this is not hard to put right. Thanks for the bid man.
Well, actually, I was using the tinfoil on an outside window, but now that I moved the veg room to a hallway – I didn’t need the tinfoil on the window… so, I just taped it to the wall until I put it in the recycle… 😉
Times are changing – because the Science about Cannabinoids is overcoming the superstition. Have you seen the CNN headlines about Cannabis this past week (in August 2013).
I feel deeply grateful to have license to grow and juice my cannabis – it makes a big difference in my arthritis pain and especially the comfort of my sleep. Here’s to science.
hmmm – negative ion generators, gotta read up on that – and Cat Litter for grow medium? Never heard of that!! So awesome to have your comments! I love new tips!
Hey Dave! Thanks for dropping by! I agree that marijuana flower chambers should not use tinfoil – white paint is much better than all the costly options!
You got the wrong side of that foil facing out. Also foil really sucks for reflective material. That white paint is much better. Take down the foil the walls will reflect more light.
Flat white paint works perfect, also experimented with negative ion generators, gives the weed a natural bush minty flavor. That was mid eighties, people who smoked that weed said it was the best they had ever smoked. In an old roomy cupboard. Simply used good old cat litter natures choice, no special grow medium. Worked wonders.

You shouldn’t use tin foil mate it creates heat spots etc best using Mylar or simply plaint the surface white 🙂

Just pray something happens that it is legal in this country soon. Been waiting a long long LOOOONG time for that to ever happen.
Ya – the grow tent metal tube framing seems very flimsy to me. Gimme 2×4’s and lag screws any day.
good stuff Joey, keep it simple and it is easy to manage.

Lucky you have a sane government, we don’t.

It’s aluminum, not tin.

‘continuous supply of healing herb – saves heaps of money – not supporting the criminals.’ Sums it all up. high five to that.
Grow tents all come with metal frames.

many thanks Lee Rock! You are correct about heat problems – I think LED Grow lights will soon drop in price and the hot HID lights will be history.
