That’s a neat way to do lst. Don’t see why it would be a problem. Think I’m gonna try this as well i have some girls that are about as old as well.

i say go for it!!! i fuc*** my last lil girl up when i went to lst her she broke i about cried but she came back with open shoots like she just wanted a hug so i spent a lot more time with her then any other of my girls and she was just fine i got some vids i need to edit and upload but i don’t know what program to use to edit any ideas let me know and i say its about time to smoke a bolw together its been i few vids now
Rubber bands don’t do well in sun light
I really like your rubber band and safety pin. I was wondering if you are going to low stress train why not go one more node higher and and really bend her over that the top is not in the way of lower nodes just wondering, when I LST I almost pull my main top to the pot is that wrong I’m fairly new so still learning if you answer this for me it would help me thanks and peace. If you are worried about the chemicals in the rubber, why not substitute with non-wax or flavor dental floss, pierce the floss and then pin it down. There will be more flack and the stem won’t be so “choked”. Yes…no?

I don’t know if it will do that much but the elastic could snap because its outside and it may damage the plant

Yo G420G the only thing I want to see you do different is use a watering can instead of pouring the water straight from the jug..when using a water can the water bubbles when it hits the soil creating a little extra air..plus it will give you a more even watering. . Peace out brother!

Best thing is copper rods that can be bent like a hook and put into the ground as it does not react to the plant and it protects it from slugs and snails :).

not true. sure if you leave them on the dashboard of your car… or possibly on the blacktop road. but not suspended. the sun alone will not melt it. I’m from phoenix and everyone received newspapers, etc. many laying on the driveway with a rubber band for weeks. if anything the rubber bands become brittle. Add to that the logistics. The band is pulling the plant… and therefore shade, towards itself. peace
Little by little is always best. Add wind to the mix, (that might not be in a constant direction) and you could snap it. peace

In a couple of weeks they will disintegrate, literally
its probably a feminized seed or it shows between the first split of branch. there are many videos on it!

I only use 1 gallon per plant in 7 gal pots, you should water slower and with a small spout watering can to the soil actually soaks it all up instead of the majority just seeping through to the ground..you will use much less water and wont need to water as often due to the soil being so soaked from actually taking that water in instead of it running through

Honestly I wouldn’t fuck with that low stress training stuff, I think it’s risky but just my opinion
untill her stem hardens late into veg, early flower., or permanent . many factors are involved.. like environment, Strain genetics, nutrients, and more. Its all about trial and error and letting your plants tell you what they need

there wasn’t any runoff, how was he drowning it ? if you have a shit ton of runoff then you know you drowned it.

Try zip-ties bro. you can still use the rubber band but you can slowly tighten the zip-tie don’t worry about the rubber band as long as it’s clean. You should also add a lower band facing the other direction. this keeps the pressure off the base of the stem.
Ya I’d use some string… Rubber bands may cause harm to Cali Jane, and string is more durable. I vote string. Keep up the good work man. Wake up every morning stoked to watch your videos. Much love homie, and stay medicated
i’m right along side you grow420guy. first grow, lost two in an early storm but i do have two topped and low stress trained and is 5 nodes or so:) happy about pretty well everything. keep the videos coming
