You shouldn’t have to do anything. It’s the female plant that buds, after the plant flowers and the flowers fall off the buds grow.

I’m wrong, it’s before the plant fowers that the buds appear…..you should pick the buds before they flower.
A bud is just that, a flower bud. It’s part of the natural growth process.
yes you have to spray nitrogen so it can grow and stay fresh forever.
if its growing naturally, then it will bud by itself when the days become longer than the nights (usually beginning of summer)….if you are growing them under constant lighting, they will only bud when you similulate natural light and dark (12 hours lights on, 12 hours lights off) hope that helps
