I would say they are lucky i was flying with my crew who were all witnesses we did not know what to expect but were prepared with camera ..if things passed the point of talking then the camera would have caught all…I would show counsel the footage and hope to have challenge do to how they handled the matter
Do to NSA concerns I did not use the audio where I demand not to be exposed by them opening the bag …at one point they (air port security) wished take out the jar and open it…that would have raised a smell…that was where you see the exchange and manager of security comes over for I said she was jeopardizing me by unnecessary exposure. It’s not about how much trouble or inconvenience this caused you, you knew that this was coming, marijuana is still federally illegal. The awesome part of this is that after the investigation you were cleared and allowed to progress upon your journey, that is the awesome part. It was all about the cannabis…those prescriptions could have been for anyone but us and they never took a second look. But they ripped apart our luggage for cannabis….and you would have thought we were carrying a bomb they way all three of them stepped back when they saw the cannabis. So uneducated…it is sad.

It took months of checking for I did not wish share cell with some terrorist for filming security of our Airport.
This was filmed some time ago…allot of security protocol can be seen even more can be heard on the audio.
To be safe for now I did not release the audio that was usable for they talk about their security measures as well questions remain about the second pat down post a medal detector for having vacuum compressed cannabis in a mason jar…No weapons or explosives

Completely illegal? with no signs saying we cannot film nothing was illegal my carry limit is a pound of cannabis at any time. Just less about 400 grams were vacuum sealed to compress then packed in the mason jar for smell.
The size of the jar may look deceiving I can assure you the weight was accurate and the Air Port authorities were out of line. I wish my camera man aside from just physical witnesses I would have had video.

The police have a policy for us why after a decade does the Vancouver Airport still have no policy….Funny flying out of Toronto a policy must have been in place for I showed ID and my permit, my bong and meds they just passed me through NO POLICE…..If Toronto has a policy I do not know of it however a clear difference. I guess medical patients continue to be caught in the prohibitory policy…
The Camera in the airport is more of a common sense thing…I did not use their audio for good reason the NSA need not be concerned and many know what a screening machine looks like.
However how many knew a plan would be held up for a medicinal user, and that that user would be searched a second time and detained as if a criminal.

If you have and prescription like the one I produced its the same as any other script. if you have morphine and its in someone else’s name its a federal offence. Still you would not be treated like this.
Being legal for over a decade in this country its a bad deal for lack of fair policy on the airports part.

You were still pretty lucky…at the Pearson Airport in Toronto. They not only detained and searched our luggage, they had Michael in the xray machine, called in higher security, then called in Toronto police, pulled our luggage off the connecting flight and had us labelled as a suspected terrorist couple. Wasn’t until I insisted they call in the RCMP…who then verified we were medical patients and told them to let us board. BTW There were morphine & Dilaudid pills there that they didn’t check
