It’s a useful pharmacological agent that I would like to have access to for certain uses (especially in terms of treatment of cancer/chemotherapy patients).
It has a better safety profile than many of the drugs we use now, and certainly better than alcohol, which is legal.
It’s non-addictive and almost impossible to overdose on.
Basically, it’s safe, and is an effective antiemetic, analgesic, and appetite stimulant and it could help a lot of patients, so I think it should be legal.

Tobacco kills, drunk drivers kill, cocaine causes gang violence. When old Merry Mary used to tork the pipe, I’d order out for a sheet pizza and veg out to some sega genesis …what’s the harm with that?
It is long overdue.
For it. You know I’ve thought about it. Did you know that an alcoholic can always get as drunk as they did the first time they drank but to get high high like they first did is hard to do with Mary Jane? Your body builds a tolerance after a long long time of using and you sort of get immune to it. You can get high but it only lasts for about 15-30 minutes after using for so long. Alcohol can keep you drunk for a long time well into the next day….so it’s actually more dangerous. I’ve been told this by a friend.
I think marijuana should be legalized for all people. To lock up peaceful, lazy pot smokers in prison with rapists and other violent offenders makes NO sense at all. Alcohol is poison and kills tens of thousands every year yet the state and federal governments make millions annually from liquor taxes. If the Feds were to figure out a way to regulate and tax marijuana this country would be out of debt in a decade.
Marijuana is psychologically addictive, not physically addictive.
I have no problem at all with this issue. My cousin grows marijuana in oregon. She has a license to grow and ship the stuff for medicinal purposes.
She makes alot of money doing this.
The only downfall is that in order to keep people away from her place from stealing the stuff, she and her husband have to guard the place constantly.
She grows this stuff in her back yard also has a green house for colder weather.
They can never leave the house unattended because if she did all her stash and plants would be stolen.
