The federal law does not recognize California’s legalization of marijuana. However, U.S. attorney general Eric Holder said he would prosecute only “people who violate both federal and state laws” implying the government no longer would try to shut down California pot dispensaries.

I dont have a problem with it I think it should be legalized at taxed like crazy
A good start to the legalization of marijuana. Our current prohibition is ridiculous.
well, that’s how it’s suppose to work, so it sounds like they finally got something right. state’s rights and laws are suppose to be respected by the federal level, even if they are in opposition. the only time the supreme court has a say in it is if the appeal reaches their courts, then federal law is applied. if it never leaves the states, it’s basically the las vegas moto… what’s happens here, stays here.
