Chile has relatively lax marijuana laws?!?! News to me. I guess I have a
different definition of “lax” than Anna, because to me the fact that it is
labelled a “Class 1” narcotic alongside cocaine and heroin screams strict.
In fact the way the law is written; should you be charged with possession,
it would require you to prove your innocence rather than have the State
prove your guilt. Sounds Kafkaesque to me.
Wow how important. 17 trillion of debt, Obamacare failed, underemployment a
train wreck…and the liberals are talking about smoking dope which will
surley make the nation more productive. Losers.
If this works in Uruguay, the idea of legalizing and taxing marijuana will
likely spread throughout all of South America all the way up to Mexico.
The American government may need to overturn its rigid policies of not
providing foreign aid to countries lacking similarly rigid policies when it
comes to the Drug War, perhaps even consider legalization at home as well.
“They lost 60,000 in Mexico because of that dumbass war on drugs.” Iraq,
Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc., lost over 1 million people, over 2 million
refugees, not to mention those who were Maimed/Injured, Evilly Raped,
Exploited, Extorted, Subjugated, Harassed, etc., because of that dumbass US
Terrorist Bush and that dumbass US Terrorist population.
Can somebody PLEEEAAASE give the Republicans 100% power before the U.S is
completely drugged out & intoxicated, broke/bankrupt from uncontrollable
social programs and blown to kingdom come by the fuckin terrorist. For
fucks sake. Jesus.
Central America should start thinking of a similar move because they do not
have good ways of making revenue. Maybe that will help getting people out
of poverty.
Living in California I was expecting us to be the first place ever to
legalize. I am very very disappointed. We literally grow the best weed in
the world.
we have the most populated prison system in the world because of this “War
on Drugs” campaign. each state makes a profit on it because the feds pay
them with our tax money. After all… Marijuana is only illegal because
some guy who owned a paper mill saw hemp as a threat to his business. so he
made up some phony story about a guy who got high and hacked up a family.
Did you know that the feds classify marijuana as dangerous as meth and
heroin? Did you know that if you make something illegal, it becomes more
enticing particularly among the youth. Example: alcohol prohibition. I no
longer see this American government as legitimate. They cant even make a
budget for more than 6 months at a time. They are not transparent in the
laws and bills they pass. The two party system is not a democracy. No one
audits the federal reserve. They waist our money on “Zombie” Mega banks
that should hold no wait in finance other than to hold onto our money until
we need it so we don’t hide it in our mattresses. Did you that 9 trillion
dollars disappeared from the federal reserve in 2007 when lieman bros
crashed and to this day is not explained. I could go on and on. I already
know some comments will say, “Why don’t you just leave.” my answer is
because that is giving up…quitting. only a coward runs away when there is
still a chance for victory. I believe in the republic but it has been
hijacked by big business. Its time for all to stand up…and not just for
the weed. ;)
And this is precisely why those Latin-American countries will always remain
Third World dysfunctional. 😉
Let’s hope these neo-narco-states serve as irresistible lure for US
drug-users. Oh, and don’t forget to leave you citizenship papers at the
border on your way out, dopeheads. :)
I say they should go for it. It`s just pot after all. I have never seen
anyone suffer any serious side effects from smoking pot. I am sure farmers
will be happy about the change. Pot is really easy to grow and ever easier
to sell. Just think about how the local farmer`s market will change when
beside the corn and tomatoes there is also stalks of dried pot for sale.
The government shouldn’t have control over what people may take into their
own bodies- not to this extent, at least. It’s one thing to ban a substance
that’s unarguably harmful when used in the most likely way. Example,
certain carcinogenic preservatives aren’t allowed to be used in food
because the public will most likely consume enough of it to experience
long-term negative side effects- because we eat a LOT of processed foods
with unnaturally long shelf lives.
But marijuana isn’t something that is so likely to be abused to the point
of serious long-term damage that it ought to be banned. It is no more
harmful than tobacco and significantly less harmful than alcohol, with
medicinal benefits not associated with either of the other two. There’s no
logic behind keeping any one of those things banned while allowing any of
the others.
People should not lose years of their life to prison because they smoked
some pot while somebody smokes a cigarette beside them without even a slap
on the wrist.
The positives of the legalization of pot outweigh the negative (in fact I
honestly can’t name a significant negative):
If people have a safe place to purchase marijuana, they will not have to
work with drug dealers, so their chance of being exposed to hard drugs is
much lower; Taxpayers won’t have to spend hundreds of thousands a year to
house people in prison for pot-related offenses; and state governments can
tax the shit out of it. Imagine all of the people in the world who smoke
pot. Now imagine all of those people putting money into their governments
for it. That is insane profit, plus whatever money can be redirected from
the prison system at that point.
Decriminalization is not a good option. Decriminalization is a vague
halfway land where you can’t grow or sell it, but can possess it and use it
(though if you do you are naughty naughty person). This leaves the
production and distribution in the hands of gangs. It should be sold in
legal, regulated markets.
You think the gangsters will just call it a day if weed is available over
the counter? Instead of fleecing addicts they will just go back to straight
up robbing people as their sole means of income.
When Sarah Palin becomes President, cannabis will cease to exist! President
Palin will purify this planet of pot! Marijuana will cease to exist on the
Palin Planet!
The U.S. will fight tooth and nail to keep fighting tooth and nail against
drugs. There’s too much entrenched bureaucracy and too much money to be
made locking up non-violent drug felons in private prisons. Also the “war
on drugs” is such a misguided policy and colossal failure most politicians
won’t ever admit they were wrong for supporting the effort.

I want Ana to sit on my face !!!
Santiago is the capital of Chile is not part of Argentina.
I hope it gets legalized in New york since they mentioned it like two weeks
ago.

Cartel’s don’t give a fuck about marijuana. Legalize the hard drugs if you
want to crack down on cartel’s and other major gangs.

First sentence in this video…
“After Urugaaaaiiiiii legalized…” Jesus…
Legalizing something is the quickest and easiest way to control it.
I am for the legalization of cannabis, but there are negative side effects.
Ever heard of fetal cannabis syndrome?

If more and more states legalise Drugs, no matter which, the drug Mafia
really will get problems.
I wonder if any of that weed will make it to the states, or if it’s not
worth it to traffic drugs all that way when we have Colorado and
Washington.
The War on Drugs was perpetrated primarily to set up the infra-structure
for our present police state. The prisons will be filled… with you and I.
No. You want Marihuana to be legalized because you’re a fucking pot head
junky.
Living in California I was expecting us to be the first place ever to

ALL YOU NEED IS A BAG OF WEED!
Santiago is in Chile, not Argentina.
Most countries are getting used to the idea of legalization and all the
federal income benefits that can come from tourism and taxation.
*rubs hand together* Good, good. Soon, soon…
if Argentina legalizes pot then most others will because it is actually a
large and wealthy country.

if Brazil follows suit before WC2014 it will be interesting
Only on Earth, we can convince a man to get on a rocket and walk on the
moon, but throw him in jail for smoking a joint, go figure.
You go South America! Hope you start the movement around the world…

the rest of you to stand up!
I cringe every time they say Uruguay
Guys & Gals, the government runs the drugs, thus “Drug Czar”
BTW The comment about Koreans and f****** them crossed the line.

It’s funny that I got an axe commercial on a video about weed
Great video, loved the domino’s joke
SANTIAGO IS THE CAPITAL OF CHILE. IT´S NOT A CITY OF ARGENTINA!!!
yeah, ’cause what’s good for crime-ridden third world countries is good for
the usa!
January 1, 2014 Colorado will allow licensed pot retailers to sell to
customers for recreational use!!!!
I thought this said legalize cannibals lol

Not small for Cubans , they loose 5 billon a year. Not fair.
