I don’t want to see the government or any human for that mater pervert the
plant god put here, in its natural form unaltered for human consumption.
But we can’t stop that can we so… Igniting, cultivating, possessing or
cooking with marijuana should be legal. If it cannot be extracted with a
safe for human consumption method, or without unsafe petroleum or toxic
chemicals it should be a crime as it can harm you and your neighbors.
Extracting using petroleum or toxic chemicals should be for medical
purposes as a schedule 2-5 drug, as it does have medical benefits but it
absolutely needs to be controlled. people have to be educated about the
subject and all safety concerns need to be taken into effect. A person
should not try to use petroleum or toxic chemicals without proper training
and license. There are plenty of ways to extract such as oil or butter,
which are fairly safe and should be allotted to do so in the safety of your
home because it can be cooked and put into food. I believe that the only
licensing, regulating and taxing of marijuana should in fact be for
petroleum or toxically extracted THC, CBD, or any other compound found
within the plant and thus the only reasoning for a medical card. It must
be done in a safe for human consumption manor in order to be recreationally
used. If you abuse marijuana in a way that could potentially harm some one
else you should be charged with a crime as the person was irresponsible..
Texas lawmakers introduced comprehensive medical marijuana legislation
Friday that would allow patients suffering from serious conditions —
including cancer and seizure disorders — to access the plant with a
doctor’s prescription.
Rep. Marisa Márquez, D-El Paso, introduced House Bill 3785, and Sen. José
Menéndez, D-San Antonio, introduced a companion bill in the Senate to
remove barriers between patients and treatment, according to Texans for
Responsible Marijuana Policy.
“By continuing to deny access to patients, we limit the rights of families
to seek the best possible treatment for conditions that do not respond to
other drugs or therapies,” Rep. Márquez said in a news release. “We should
create paths, and not obstacles, in allowing doctors to recommend medicine
that has been shown to work.”…
