My husband has a severe foot problem and a doctor told him that he could give him a medicinal marijuana card however he would like to know if it is legal to have it if he is a CLASS A Driver and possesses a Commercial License? Please let me know thank you. Could he get in trouble at his work for getting one?

He will fail his drug test and get fired. Pot is illegal on a federal basis and that is who monitors CDLs
He would get in major trouble if he’s caught driving with it. I’m assuming that the prescription is to be used like many other medications (such as vicodine, xanax, vailum ect) where you’re not supposed to operate machinery while using it.
Having a Medical Marijuana card means he’s able to smoke by state, in his “home” or private area and NOT to be used while driving or on the job.
If he got into an accident or had a work injury they would immedatly drug test him and see that he has THC in his system.
