I understand what you say about drinking, I used to like wine but when I started medicating everyday and dont really use that much, I cant even drink a glass of wine anymore or any alcohol for that matter even the slightest makes me feel like shit, green never leaves me hung over at all

is the only diffrence between getting shatter and getting honeycomb just temp.? i read the F.A.Q. and it made it seem like the only diffrence is purgeing at a 115 degrees F vs 130 degrees F? is that really the only difference?
Knotty fanstastic job on all your runs! I have a couple very important questions that could def help with my runs for my meds here..
-I see you put your dissector right onto your hotplate/griddle..What temp/setting are you keeping your griddle at to have your oil at a steady temperature?
-Im using the same Vac-it pro chamber, how long would it take for the temp of the pot to get to a steady temp? How do you even check the temp of the oil..unless you take the top off the chamber?

Read the Faqs man… you never go based of griddle temp you need a heat thermometer gun directly on your oil to get a real temp measure.. common sense 🙂

Hey my friend an I were thinking of starting to do some serious runs based solely on ur extraction techniques witch we think are great.
We were just wondering can you or have u posted a video of u blasting into the pan and doing the first purge with the hot water baths?
Also we Dont have access go any trim we will b using high grade materials do you think the return will be as cost efficient ( not exactly the same) as the trim?
i know some guys that have been using different sizes and shapes of PTFE bags and envelopes….they swear by them, just have to find the size shape that works best with your setup they say.

When you’re attaching filters to your xtraction tubes, do you put the pressing screen on over or under the steel screen? Does it matter?
I did this with parchment paper too. No hassle, tasted great with no burn or compression.
Maybe you’ve already responded to this question~but what is your thoughts on the “mystery oil” in all butane? It seems butane is fine but needs to be “cleaned” 1st via vacuum distillation. This goes for cans and n-tane. Would love to hear your thoughts. BEAM ME UP KNOTYY!
Hey Knotty just wanted to stop in and say thanks you were my inspiration to start blowing my own bho and i learned so much about extraction and purging, but damn man i would do anything in the world to get my hands on some of your wax/shatter!!!
So apart from blasting with butane into the pan with the PTFE oilslick sheet in it, is this your whole process?
1.curing the butane/oil mix in heated water bath over a griddle keeping temperature in mind, once bubbles slow or hault take off griddle and transfer to vacuum chamber
2. place cured oil in vacuum chamber to purge out remaining butane, self regulating the vacuum to avoid muffin
3.once bubbles slow or cease, transfer to parchment for easy handling
4.place back in vacuum for final purge
Also…assuming your keeping your vac at a full pull (-30..) how long are your purging for considering the amount going in the vac?

knotty, quick question, what kind of hot plate do you have? i used a 20 dollar one from walmart and the temp was like twice as hot as it was supposed to be. instead of 130 it was like 220
no winterizing, freezer time, alcohol mixing, or anything? Reason for asking i watched another video on this and his process was a lot more complicated and i feel that he lost a significant amount of product due to his filtration habits, however keeping in mind that u used a sizable amount more bud than previously viewed. Im trying to find the most return on investment and your method appears to have both simple steps and high yield, If possible please let me know if im missing some components
