So thankful for Dr. Gupta’s integrity on the issue! The world needed to see this!
Levy says that the medication needs to be “a medication just like every other”. What she means is, this needs to go through the FDA process so that my hospital, my bosses, and myself can make the MONEY on it. It works, it’s lab tested, what’s the problem lady? Other than who makes the MONEY in the end?????
They need to be talking like it’s 2013 and that there’s plenty of studies on it. I’m tired of these people on mainstream media who pussyfoot around this issue, and oh, what about the children? please! All those unhealthy ingredients and artificial sweetners in food are worse for kids than weed! C’mon Montel defend your cause correct! He wasn’t bad, just not as direct as i hoped..

Let me put this in a simple way that everyone can understand: Cannabis is an empowering plant to humans; it is a health food, a textile, an inspiration, a medicine, and a building material among many other uses. A population growing cannabis is a rich population indeed. Exactly again. The plant is just a way for our criminal empire of a government to monopolize on hemp profits. They know the harmless plant is irresistible to humans, so they use cartels to distribute their product in order to control supply and demand knowing that people always crave what they are not allowed to have.
How is a cannabis extract NOT a “medication just like every other”? It is there, unmolested, yet she appears to be implying we need to make ineffective isolations like Marinol, which clearly and scientifically do not have the efficacy of the natural product!
Her objections are to combustion intake, which is CURRENTLY not the only avenue for intake. There is consumption, vaporization, and even oil extracts. There is no need to demand “Big Pharma” be the only ones in control of this medicine.
Exactly. This harmless plant needs to be legalized NOW! We know it is good for us, and if it is not made legal, we will hold those responsible accountable.

I too am tired and frustrated always hearing” We need more research”. The research is out there…now. I totally agree with Dr Gupta and Mr Montel Williams when they both said “Do the research”. The studies, trials and research have already been done. People only need to look at it. Cannabis is such an amazing beneficial plant, in so many ways. It just staggers my mind when I learn even more about this awesome plant.
