marijuana jokes
; asked:

Because as a non-stoner, I am outraged and infuriated at how popular this issue is. It shouldn’t even be an issue. Marijuana legalization is a joke. We’re talking about legalizing an extremely harmful and addictive drug that can cause cancer and brain damage. Everyone who doesn’t smoke marijuana is against legalization and hates people who smoke it.

Actually lots of non smokers are for it because of the boost it will give the economy when the government taxes it. Oh and i have lots of non smoking friends who love me haha get your facts straight bitch im a doctor

  2. Zarn says:

Your premise “Everyone who doesn’t smoke marijuana is against legalization and hates people who smoke it” is wrong. I don’t do the wacky backy, but I’m for legalization.

  3. deniz says:

True but it is unfair that cigarettes cause a lot of similar problems and are legal. Some of the people did marijuana before it was band and hence they are already addicted and enjoy it. Its like taking away something you love its hard. Besides the more things they take away from you the less freedom you have and i believe you should be able to make your own choice of whether you want to do marijuana or not. I personally don’t like being around people who do it so if they were to actually legalize it i think it should only be allowed within there own home or in certain places so the rest of us don’t have to put up with it.

  4. Corruptedspirit, Resurrected says:

you sound exactly like another victim of the moral majority’s propoganda…..marijuana has verified medical uses, and is immensely less dangerous than alcohol – which IS legal

alcohol related deaths number in the thousands every day, there’s not a single case of a marijuana related death that’s ever been recorded

Ok well let see here my ex has been smoking since he was 12! And he’s the smartest guy i know! So is his best friend! And you think pot is HARMFUL HIGHLY ADDICTIVE AND CAUSES BRAIN DAMAGE! wow its not heroin crack acid or coke! you got some issues if you think this is bad how many people do you hear getting in car accidents from smoking pot not many but you hear all the time of people getting in to accidents while under the influence of alcohol!

  6. Golden says:

you are incorrect. everyone that doesn’t smoke it are not against it.

what gives you the right to legislate my life? will you start in on what i eat and drink next? how are my shoes? are they alright, or should we all wear boots and gray coveralls? may i listen to music? which kind would be alright with you?

  7. L BONES (UltraViolence) says:

Fact is, there are actually non-smokers that support marijuana legalization.

Eh, you don’t want to compare marijuana’s health effects to alcohol/tobacco. Well, maybe you do–prepare for the shitstorm, bud.

  8. Truthy McTruth says:

    “extremely harmful and addictive drug”?
“Everyone who doesn’t smoke marijuana is against legalization and hates people who smoke it”?

Grow up and smell the ganja, jacka$$

  9. stina says:

    I do not smoke.
I don’t hate people who smoke it.
It’s is naturally grown. Just let them smoke. It’s actually a lot more safe than smoking cigarettes.

They already use it for medical reasons anyway.
The only reason I think is a strong point for those who doesn’t want to legalize it is that people believe it to be a pathway drug to other drugs. (You didn’t mention that in one of your points.)

The government isn’t trying to legalize COCAINE… NOW THAT’S BAD!!

Caffeine is addictive… many things that are legal in this world are addictive.
There is no physical addiction to marijuana. It’s more of a psychological thing, where I believe you can just say no… If you love chocolate…and you want chocolate… you can just say no because there is no PHYSICAL need for it, but a psychological.

“So for the most part, there really is no physical withdrawal; no detox symptoms for quitting marijuana. With other drugs, such as alcohol or painkillers, there are very real and sometimes even dangerous withdrawal symptoms that can occur during the detox process. But with marijuana, there really are no such problems. So this would tend to point to the idea that marijuana is not addictive…”

and here are some more facts for you…

    “Top Five Marijuana Myths

Marijuana Can Cause Permanent Mental Illness
    Marijuana Is Highly Addictive
Marijuana Is More Potent Today Than In The Past
Marijuana Offenses Are Not Severely Punished
Marijuana Is More Damaging to the Lungs Than Tobacco”

THOSE FIVE ABOVE ARE ALL FALSE!

Overtime, sure marijuana can cause damage, but if i eat a big mac everyday, I am causing damage…
It’s psychologically possible to control the need.

As a non-stoner Dutchman, I am outraged and appalled that this is even an issue. It is obvious, not just from numbers but from comparative observation as well, that (1) Marjiuana usage is much less harmful than the use of other, legal, drugs, such as alcohol, and (2) that the legalization of Marijuana vastly decreases the use of hard drugs AND in the long term decreases the use of Marijuana as well.

Alcohol causes vastly more damage per consumption, and is consumed in much greater quantities, than Marijuana. Compared to alcohol, Marijuana is safe.

Only 28% of Dutch citizens have smoked Marijuana. 54% of Americans have smoked Marijuana.
In the Netherlands last year, Marijuana and other soft drugs caused less than 50 deaths. Alcohol caused hundreds.

If you want to reduce marijuana use AND hard drug use, legalize marijuana. Flood the market. Reduce prices to such a level that it becomes impossible to make a living off of it.
Furthermore, by legalizing heroin and cocaine, you could completely destroy the entire drug lord system in Afghanistan and Mexico. Just because of free market principles.

I have never smoked, tobacco or marijuana.
    I have never consumed alcohol.
I have never broken the law through the illegal consumption of drugs.
I support the legalization of Marijuana, and advocate the legalization of hard drugs.

  12. Jillian Galloway says:

$113 billion is spent on marijuana every year in the U.S., and because of the federal prohibition *every* dollar of it goes straight into the hands of criminals. Far from preventing people from using marijuana, the prohibition instead creates zero legal supply amid massive and unrelenting demand.

According to the ONDCP, at least sixty percent of Mexican drug cartel money comes from selling marijuana in the U.S., they protect this revenue by brutally torturing, murdering and dismembering countless innocent people.

If we can STOP people using marijuana then we need to do so NOW, but if we can’t then we need to legalize the production and sale of marijuana to adults with after-tax prices set too low for the cartels to match. One way or the other, we have to force the cartels out of the marijuana market and eliminate their highly lucrative marijuana incomes – no business can withstand the loss of sixty percent of its revenue!

To date, the cartels have amassed more than 100,000 “foot soldiers” and operate in 230 U.S. cities, and Arizona police are now conceding that parts of their state are under cartel control. The longer the cartels are allowed to exploit the prohibition the more powerful they’re going to get and the more our own personal security will be put in jeopardy.

meth should be legalized go cocain

  14. hasmunchies4pie says:

dude, ur fucking stupid. I’m not even going to go into detail about how stupid u actually r. Jesus Christ, its scientifically fascinating how stupid you actually are. And the stupidest thing about this is that you think your smart. HA!

  15. T.A. says:

    Marijuana should never be legalized.

Marijuana killed my wife and child, raped my disabled and wheelchair-bound sister, kicked my bitch (female dog) in the stomach when she was pregnant with her first litter of puppies, cut my brake line one day before I left the house to go to work (I was nearly killed), desecrated the remains of my dead grandparents, and is responsible for every traffic accident when someone was driving under the influence.

If it wasn’t for marijuana we would be living in a perfect society of law and order.

  16. jab says:

i’m outraged by your stupidity. seriously.
As a NON-smoker, yes that’s right(no pot, cigarettes, crack, etc.) I couldn’t disagree more. And you need to do your research. Marijuana is definitely NOT highly addictive, unlike many LEGAL substances in the country-like nicotine, alcohol, pain prescriptions…and it isn’t like you would know, obviously you’ve never smoked it, right? Well i have a couple times and it wasn’t for me and guess what–I never got addicted. and i’m around quite often because of my friends.

Marijuana isn’t nearly as harmful to the brain as you claim. here is a study done, go ahead and research it:

Heath, R.G., et al. “Cannabis Sativa: Effects on Brain Function and Ultrastructure in Rhesus Monkeys.” Biological Psychiatry 15 (1980): 657-690.

Though i don’t agree with using monkeys as test subjects, thats a different issue. The reason ‘stoners’ and ‘non-stoners’ support the legalization is usually because of the ridiculous severe penalties for possessing weed and the overcrowding of jails with people who really dont deserve to be there, its absolute BS. Leave jail to the real offenders.
But i doubt you’ll understand this, I’m sure you’ve never smoked because I get the impression no one’s ever offered you anything.
