ok i have inch long seedlings that i plan to grow outside. thier inside rite now and i was wonderin if a normal light bulb 60 w will work on them? it is in a heating lamp will it work or will it kill my seedlings
You don’t need a separate heat lamp when using regular light bulbs, since 90% of those 60 watts (54 watts) is heat. I recommend 2 30 watt fluorescent bulbs. They’ll put out enough light to get the seedling going strong. If it’s in an enclosed area, the heat will build up but not enough to fry the plant, so long as you keep it watered. Keep it moist but not wet.

I don’t think it will work, you need hydroponic lights.
