is this a mid-life crisis?..You’d find out sooner if you just planted one as a tester.
Not great, but you can try it, keeping the growth medium moist but not soaked.
they may no longer be viable but the only way to know is to try to get them to germinate,place them in a folded paper towel , place it in a saucer, and keep it wet for a couple of weeks, if they sprout then you are in business ….so to speak.
