OREGON MEDICAL MARIJUANA PROGRAM DIV8 The reason i start with so many beans is because i have a very picky way of choosing pheno types. In this early stage you can only see a few things. Health,structure, and even smell after a couple weeks of veg.I always choose the fastest , strongest seed sprouts . I give all the plants about a week after sprouting and if they look at all wispy or unhealthy i toss them….its always a good idea to start with 3X the amount you want in your finished numbers….

@komagrows Yup that’s the ticket right there, a homie that’s in his 25 th year of grows guided me to this technique compared to the 6th grade science class paper towel technique lol I’m glad u do this way also, I’ve noticed the root zone fill the cups almost a week faster, hey I just started using liquid orca mychor, what’s your opinion on it?, much respect brotha:)
I know you mentioned a while back about maybe trying DWC, imo you should do 1 bucket DWC off in a corner as an experiment or something, even if its only a onetime deal, just a thought sir – keep the vids coming 😉

the reason is if youve ever seen time lapse macro of a seed sprouting youde see that it has beneficial bacteria attaching right away in my soil…why wouldnt i want that is a better question-paper towel=lame-if you do it my way you spend 10 bucks on soil and 6 bucks on beer cups-if you cant afford 16$ to pop anywhere from 10-100 seeds your in the wrong game-second, normally people dont even pop more than 20 or 30 beans at a time-how much $ do they save from using paper towels? 4$? bahahaha

I also pop my seeds directly in the soil. My soil is so full of micro/macro life that the little sprouts have fight off the soil mites. I used to freak out and try and wash them off with water. I found the best way is to not add water to the leaves so that they dry out and the soil mites die or crawl back into the soil. I figure that this would be natures way of selecting the strongest plants because some do not survive this.
