That’s definitely going to be something magical, will be tuned in for sure.
    Stay bringing that fiyyaaaa!

I was just looking at LED tech today. You should compare the amount of PAR
light ( I hope I’m saying that correctly) that each light gives off. I
looks like that’s where most of the LED tech has an advantage. I read LED
use 40% photosynthetic light per watt of energy consumed as compared to
    HID.

my math might be wrong but i make it just over 11 years they’ll last on 12
hours, thats prety f’n long. thanks 4 doin this bud i’ve been wondering for
a while if led is worth switching too

  4. Greg Bedford says:

    Awesome!!! LEDs!!!!

  5. JRN2222 says:

Hope your ready for half the yield at most.

  6. haribo stinky says:

a lot off people i know will just use them in veg then change in flower and
then change again when your bud swells to save money plus they say in makes
the taste and smell off the flower better

This is awesome. Im really excited to see where this channel is going. Your
work really helps me step up my growing and I’m impressed by your method of
endorsing a product. A lot of channels I see get sent a random grow light
from some company and just say look at this thing guys and go buy it with
this promo code. But you just buy something you deem best and are just
testing the method out. Props dude you kick ass

  8. Billy McCarty says:

Good info bud cant wait to see it in action

  9. Chi-Town Bears says:

I cant wait to see how you set all of this up

  10. Devin Dekoekkoek says:

    great, im excited for this!

    Last about 11 years!

Go check out grow420guide he is doing the same thing

    Nice. I’m watchin on break.

Looking forward to this series, I really enjoy your vids Hygro, I’ve
learned a ton!! Check out oneshotgrow, he did a video of this same light,
not sure if the specs are identical, but he had major issues when a couple
diodes failed and had to replace. Hopefully they have fixed all the bugs
with the unit. Keep it green and Scrogged!

Need help with my hydro grow and can use some advice. Check it out Ty

  16. TubeDeviant says:

I can’t wait to hear about your results comparing the lights. They’re great
for the hydro consumption, working hours and heat, but I also heard that
the LED’s don’t provide the right spectrum of colors..

  17. John Nie says:

I have used this exact light before. Mine took a shit after about a year
and a half of use. It was such a great light, I bought mine direct from
China so getting it warrantied was not easy.

Even though the light is cool enough to put the plant right up to the panel
the chlorophyll will bleach right out of the leaf if you do. You will have
a bunch of buds with white tops if you let them come within about 4 inches
of the diodes, or at least that is what happened to mine. My panel had 90
degree lenses in it, I am not sure what yours has, it could be different.

So Fucking Amped for this One! No disrespect to any other growers on
YouTube, but I’m glade your the one doing this experiment. I know you will
be thorough with the experiment. Plus, your subscribers trust your growers
IQ. Thank you for what you do. I can’t wait!

  19. charles davis says:

    Thanks.

  20. Vicious Budz says:

Aww man yes thank you I’ve been interested in led lights for a while now.
I’ve seen a few comparison vids of led and hid and I like how the plants
respond to leds. If anybody can make it happen I know you can. Good luck
with the grow I’ll be watching I can’t wait to see how it goes.

  21. north seven o five says:

I bit the bullet a few months back and grabbed 2 LED units myself. They
produce very VERY resinous buds, but less of them. It’s fine with me as
eventually I’m going to be using them as supplemental lighting along with
my HID to combine the yield with the quality. The reason you get a smaller
yield is because they really don’t have the power to penetrate very far, so
if you aren’t scrogging don’t expect much down below the tops.

  22. John Smith says:

Thanks for running this comparison. Since I just got into growing this
year, I decided to go down the LED path for a number of reasons, so I have
no HID experience. So far, I am very happy with the results. I have a
ways to go in my grow techniques, but the lights are working great. One
thing to remember: while the lights are cool (i.e. the plants won’t burn),
they will bleach the flowers if to close. Maybe all lights aren’t created
equal, but I’m using some DS200’s from Advanced LED. I love your channel
and really appreciate all the time you put into sharing the growing
    knowledge.

  23. Uncle410 says:

Can’t wait to see the outcome if successful u can put a HHT stamp on
changing the game….lol. Glad u take the time to bring us up to speed.

  24. Deon Thomas says:

Nice ..can’t Waite to see the bad bitches you flower with these

  25. The 1 LB. CLUB says:

I love the people talking s*** already. That’s the reason he’s doing this
so we can all honestly find out. I I think all 36,000 of us know he’s not a
shill for an LED company. Now is the time for us to find out for sure. He
will literally tell us gram for gram what the difference is. And I’m
willing to bet half harvest is wrong. This is also great because I’m sure a
lot of people live in apartments and this is perfect god forbid I ever have
to move back to one but if I did I would probably have one of these

  26. mrdameon1 says:

This should be an interesting test grow. I’ve done a lot of test grows, but
never with LED due to the cost. Even if the LED’s pull smaller yields they
could still have value to growers with smaller setups that have issues with
the heat from the HPS lights.
