Nikkie asked:
I’ve heard from a couple people that if you smoke weed your hair stops growing as fast.
Is this true?
And no comments about “stoners” or “pot heads” please, I hate those stereo types.
P.S i do NOT smoke weed, I just want to know if this is true or not.

marijuana on its own is nearly harmless, so i dont think it would affect hair growth.
they should fucking legalize it already, itd save the economy!
no, it doesnt, i would know . (ps i dont smoke it either) and it isn’t harmful weed cant hurt you it doesnt cause disease or cancer.
Marijuana does take a toll on lots of organs in the body. It slows down your metabolism, so you don’t process nutrients the way you should. Therefore, the oxygen and nutrients your hair needs to thrive arent getting to the hair folicle the way it would in someone who doesn’t smoke. This is true for just about any chemical or substance you expose your body to for long periods of time. Over time, marijuana may stunt hair growth, but it will not stop it completely. Everyone has different reactions to chemicals or substances, as well, so it might slow down growth significantly in one person but not as much in another.
Not true at ALL.
Wtf?!
And JasM, marijuana hasn’t been shown to affect metabolism at all. Which is unfortunate because you won’t burn off your munchies more easily than you normally would, but I know it doesn’t slow it.
I wish!!
I could saved a lot of time and money over the last 40 years!
