Hey growers, it’s week 13 of my weed grow and it’s getting pretty close to harvest, maybe 3-4 weeks to go or so. This week I’m asking for help from all of you to give me ideas about what sort of growing topics you want me to discuss. I’m not sure exactly what everyone wants to hear or needs to learn the most, so if you’re facing a specific issue, post your question below and I’ll do my best to help you. It was around $200 for the whole lighting system I have if I remember right. Make sure for an HID system that you get a ballast as well. Did the one you saw include the ballast? If so, the price is pretty good I would say, the only question would be quality. You’d have to decide that one for yourself.

What do you mean are nutrients essential? Yes, nutrients are essential for your plant, but it’s not necessary for you to use the same nutrients as I do. Your plants need nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorous in large quantities and various other nutrients in smaller amounts (called micronutrients) such as calcium and magnesium.
As far as lighting, if cheap lighting is what you need, you need CFL’s. I’ve never used them personally, so you’ll want to do your own research on what type of CFL’s are the best for growing weed.
I use a 400W HID system which is on the more expensive side, maybe 3-4x what a CFL setup is. However, I believe the investment into a robust lighting system will pay for itself many times over, which is why I did it from the start. Over 2 years growing and my system from Stealth Hydro still works.
Also i have a question with the hydroponics, are nutrients really esential? and also im not shure about the lighting thats what i need to know i need a good light kinda cheap prices
