Sore losers of the war on drugs. Trying to keep stealing all the property
they can before it all becomes legal and they lose their cash cow. The same
thing happened toward the end of alcohol prohibition. These bastards will
fight tooth and nail to keep the very profitable enforcement industry in
    business.

  2. itsasin1969 says:

It makes me so fucking mad. Remember ,under the fed law pot is schedule 1
drug, and they might as well been caught with crack.

  3. MilitantAntiTheist says:

The police have to get the money to militarize themselves to protect the
wealthy and boost profits for private prisons somehow, and don’t expect it
to come from taxing the job creators.

Look who shit on freedom’s grave, another reason not to let it die.

  6. tecnoblix says:

This is so screwed up. I know it’s going to be ACTUALLY legal in a short
time, but this makes me have some doubts. The good guys don’t always win. I
really appreciate your passion on this.

  7. John Stansky says:

Cops love the raids for the free stuff…..They joke about it being like
the lottery, cash, boats, guns. Follow the trail of confiscated items and
see who gets paid and you have found the true criminals.

  8. Sylvia Ross says:

Every progressive who cares about justice needs to go on a letter-writing
    campaign to help this family.

  9. Stacey Ireland says:

+trajan74 I both agree and disagree with you. But I don’t wish to
    elaborate.

  10. DarkOmega Catalin says:

freedom for all .fuck that shit .that’s a straight up lie

  11. Chuffererd says:

Consider yourselves lucky. In Canada they are doing this same thing but not
laying charges. They are just seizing property as if you have gone through
    court and are guilty.

  12. ClaimAmerica4Christ says:

This is no different than what they did to Cliven Bundy, but for some
reason the left doesn’t feel the same outrage when the person isn’t a drug
    dealing street thug.

  13. Philip says:

The DEA is the US mafia. They are criminals.

land of the free and home of the brave…

  15. Shaun Streeter says:

to be fair i think this isn’t so much a problem of the administration but
the federal agency doubling down on a bad call. Although that said i wonder
if this is a case where if they don’t charge them the federal agency can be
sued but if they go to court and lose then they still cant be sued for
wrongful arrest, I am not sure if i am articulating the idea right.

  16. Eric Camacho says:

This is extremely idiotic there’s nothing to gain here for arresting the
family and seizing there land , and there’s no justification these are
either idiots thugs or both .

  17. CrazyMaryNews says:

One can rape a woman or child, and get less time.

  18. Pc Blob says:

It doesn’t matter if they need it. It should be legal for everyone.

  19. dyssynchro says:

Damn is the US still a country based on the rule of law ?… Something is
missing in this story… it is too obvious. If not, a 5 years old lawyer
would have no troubles defending this family !… No ?… How come !…. I
just don’t get the logic behind this story.

  20. Randy M says:

I feel immoral for paying my taxes. Add prisons and the war on drugs to the
long list of reasons why my goal is to spend my career outside of the US.
Crossing my fingers that the position I’m going for works out.

  21. △SeZZy △ says:

How fucked up is murica ? You have federal and state laws ? Thats fucking
stupid the only laws that should matter, should be the state laws federeal
are the fucking corrupt crowd with private jails .

  22. Andrew D says:

Cause that seems about right for growing some plants. Totally just. This is
just scary. This is genuinely terrifying.

  23. Elizabeth Merritt says:

Infuriating and discouraging. What an outrageous waste of resources. It’s
disgusting how willing the government is to ruin these people’s lives. If
you want to grow marijuana and smoke it, that’s no one’s fucking business.
40 years for growing some pot? Seriously? Ridiculous.

  24. Rawbeard says:

    this is weird, man

  25. Skytalon says:

If they go to jail the government should be held liable if they die in
prison due to lack of medication or proper care. CCA will take a cut of the
profits to imprison more American’s as this family suffers the consequences
of a racist and immoral drug war.

  26. HojoOSanagi says:

The guy who runs my local dispensary had his arm cut off in a machinery
accident and took medical marijuana to deal with the pain of losing a limb,
being in it constantly. He couldn’t go back to work and so he decided to
open his own medical marijuana business after it did so much good for him.
I see plenty of people who need medical marijuana because of physical and
psychological disorders and/or disabilities and I live in Canada where
everyone has a permanent doctor to whom they get free access and who can
properly assess and decide if it is the best choice for the individual.

  27. Lsmjd says:

Wow, what a fucked up story..The Obama administration are massively
hypocritical on this issue and need to be called out on it much more
directly. I really hope raids like these, in Colorado and Washington, stop
    like right now.

  28. Tom Secrest says:

What if the feds forget to pick them up to go to prison for 41 years. (See
“Clerical Error Freed Robber from Prison”) Should they be punished in 41
years because the broke a federal law. Yes I know it not quite the same
but, in both cases the justice system is the real criminal.

  29. Indomitable says:

So, anyone know of a petition to help this family out?

  30. SuperKnowledgeSponge says:

I wanna put the DEA in jail for being the henchmen of the drug kingpins.

  31. SetOnChill says:

Is there one of them government petitions that I can sign? This shit is
getting out of hand! I’m getting so tired of this country! It’s time we
    start flexing the 10th amendment!

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor
prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or
    to the people.

  32. IslamicMission says:

I can think of a whole lot of things that would be better use of our tax
    money.

  33. Michal Wichowski says:

This is a federal case, so I don’t see how they can get a ‘not guilty’
verdict. Their lives are in the the hands of the judges who we can only
hope will have mercy. Also Obama wouldn’t risk his career for four average
constituents unless there would be a serious public outcry, but I doubt
there will be. This is really unfortunate.

  34. Jeff LRat says:

By freedom, politicians mean freedom for themselves, by America, they mean
their America; isn’t this obvious by now.

  35. BluBerriKush420 says:

    what the actual fuck

  36. Unholy Alliance says:

According to Simon Baron-Coen’s Empathy Bell Curve, these Federal Agents
and the Courts Have zero degrees of empathy. That makes then psychotic.

See his book The Science Of Evil: On Empathy and the Origins of Cruelty.

  37. 1more2go4 says:

This is bullshit. Tyranny is damn right. Well, we have to keep fighting,
and do our best to keep things moving forward with legalization. We have
to change the mentality of people, get them stop thinking of drugs like
marijuana as “wrong”. Very disappointing though.

  38. Zach Hollett says:

I dont smoke pot for any reason (yet, who knows what may happen in the
future)… but this is disgusting. These people shouldn’t be harassed like
    this.

  39. hollowosamudiamen says:

The government wants to send a fucked up message that we have the balls to
say “Who the fuck are you to tell me how to live my life?!”

  40. trajan74 says:

“They didn’t do anything wrong” Folks only a liberal would say that. These
people were moonshining there own medicine. If they’re in pain, they should
be giving their hard earned money to big pharmaceutical companies for their
over-priced, ineffective pills that’ll probably kill them. Everyday these
people don’t take pharma drugs is a theft from their class superiors.

These people are gonna die someday and if they die without having enriched
as many of our lords as possible then what was the point of their lives in
    the first place?

  41. TheBadAssNcrRanger says:

    WTF

  42. Sean Chase says:

This is beyond fucked up and extremely hypocritical of Obama, Holder, et.
al. since this whole drug war nonsense started.

Just goes to show, hypocrisy IS status quo.

  43. yootoob1958 says:

How about we put the people responsible for the financial collapse in
    prison for 40 years instead.

  44. Chris AA says:

Can’t raid a meth lab, huh? A little too dangerous? Cannabis growers are a
lot less prone to shoot at raiding officers. Cowards.

  45. God Did It says:

There has to be more to this

  46. Bobby Lane says:

You should stay up to date on this topic I’d like to hear more when it
    develops

  48. Alice Carrie says:

This video should go VIRAL!!! Obviously you won’t hear this in CNN! All you
    hear is Russia.

  49. Drew Carrier says:

Kyle you have to do something more for this poor people!

  50. Jonny Fizzle says:

Where’s all them bellyaching conservatives when you need em’? Clear-cut
case of tyranny right here, served up on a big fat silver platter. Let the
right wing rage-fest begin! Any takers? No? I guess it doesn’t count as
government overreach when it comes to this type of “grass”, does it?
