stretch marks for humans are formed the same way – through growing too fast. I know this because when I hit puberty as a kid I had (and still slightly have) stretch marks on my back from getting so tall so quick. I wasn’t overweight though (i was 140 and 5′ 11″)

Do you know what the word “rapid” means? Maybe you should Google the meaning of that word, then ask yourself how many people you know got fat “rapidly”
How many people do you know were skinny one day, then fat enough to create stretch marks a few weeks later?

I think technically it closer resembles a bush. You can top a bush without hurting it. You can’t really top a tree and expect it to continue growing.

Fat people dont have stretch marks
Skinny mothers get stretch marks by losing the baby weight too fast. When the baby is developing its such a slow process, first a minor lump then after months and months it becomes the bulge associated with being pregneant. Then sometimes as fast as a couple months they lose all that weight at once.
