I was pulled over because my tag light was burned out but it turned out to be a bigger deal. After it was over I realized that it was not such a bad experience and I think the deputies I interacted with that night were pretty good guys. It was scary but also fascinating. My nervousness invoked suspicion but I wasn’t scared of being caught with something, I was afraid they were going to hurt me. They were extremely generous not to give me a citation after the misunderstanding and I owe them a great deal of thanks for letting me go.

I visited a friend in prison for the first time since he was transfered. When I pulled up they were doing a weapon drug search. I was nervous and he cop asked, “are we making you nervous?” I said yes and could hear him talking with his partner as they searched. I was thinking yes I’m nervous because I am a law abiding citizen and have never been searched for weapons or drugs. Isn’t it a normal reaction for a good person to be nervous?
Hi, Corey. Yeah, I know that burned out tag lights is a really big hazard to society that the police really must do something about; especially in probable cause states. But I had no idea about such uses for Burt’s Bees lip balm ; )
Anyway, I’m glad you’re a free man!!!
Good for you.I admire the fact you took up for your rights.Good news. You are not a dangerous criminal.
