Allston businesses ask why are these shops being raided after they have been allowed to be in business for years? We have heard some news that Green Side Up has a top local legal team supporting them. Scott Matalon shooting video.

@MikeCANN I didn’t claim to offer you, on the other side of the continent answers. I was merely saying that something like that is a natural mechanism now. So many people have a stake in it. It’s like a living monster.

Glad you posted latest attacks going on, Haven’t heard any TV news covering this. U have to find out who will profit from these attacks — those against ending marijuana prohibition. As usual government is protecting it’s draconian drug laws, it’s billions spent on building prisons, funding DEA and attacking our civil rights. Of course govenment doesn’t remove alcohol , tobacco becase they are dangerous, addictive, deadly.

mike i think you gotta get up in there face about it. if the news won’t come to you bring it to them. i have a great idea. fox 25 morning news has zip trips every week where they go to a different town and shoot the news. while filming , people hold up signs and stuff in the background. there’s one scheduled on the commons on July 2nd. quietly organize a boatload of your peeps to show up with a ton of signs and such. Bang, your on Fox 25 news most popular morning show!!

And Im more than a marijuana reform activist. Business person in Allston, MA. Work with Metropolitan Pictures, Stingray Body Art right down the street. Many of the local people I have heard from on this closing do not use cannabis. Local business owners do not support these raids…
@MIKECANNISARAT Tommy Chong was taken in on charges that he shipped glass to a state in which it was not allowed, NOT on the premise that he had “knowledge” for what the glass was intended to be used with.
There are no existing laws on the books against glass being sold, in and of itself, for neutral purposes. Nothing illegal was taking place. It was a raid out of spite, and the actions of law enforcement in this care are not going to hold up in court.
@HashyBee It’s easier work than solving unsolved homicides. Why we are asking questions and not just masscann/norml and the marijuana reform movement but concerned citizens in Boston and many local business owners. This is the talk of the town. Let’s talk about it and continue to ask the Boston Police Department about it. You can call them names all day but it does nothing until we ask them politely the tough questions in private and publicly. What we are doing….

Posts like this by a self proclaimed “marijuana law reform activists” prove the police are correct, the owners of these stores know or should know the glass they sell will be used to consume marijuana.

Um… Your Prison Industrial Complex is feeding itself. That’s what’s going on IMHO. I mean you know what kind of money is involved right Mike? And don’t you think those cops that do drug raids need something to do. It’s always going to be someone. The small store guy, the small grower, someone with a couple of ounces in the wrong place at the wrong time…….. So many of the people that the public assumes will get nothing, end up in jail. And it’s like why? These aren’t even big players??
