Pharma would lose money because cannabis is a medicine that can grow in your backward.
It would be a healthier alternative to alcohol and tabacco. Prison populations would be reduced, and since cannabis related arrests are the #1 drug arrests in this country it would reduce revenue to the police. All of this means less taxes/power in the hands of the centralized government. Not sure about oil though lol.

Obama isn’t afraid of Conservatives, nor is he trying to appease them. Obama believes in control, just like Bush did. Once they get the power, they want more and more control. You want liberty? These Young Turks need to rethink who they are voting for. Democrats and Republicans may say they are friends of liberty, and say they will reduce something to get elected, but they have shown over and over once they get the power they will abuse it.

The world is/always will be a business. The governmt is your boss, and you are an employee of the corporation of the USA. You are considered a tax paying node in their system, and expected to follow any policy that is set by the head office. Head office would actually loose $ if MJ were legalized; Pharma, med, alcohol/tobacco, oil, prisons, and police can’t let it happen. Now, take a vaccine, eat monsanto, drink fluoride, pop a prozac, watch a. idol, pay your taxes, and get back to work!
Pharma would gain money because they can sell it, the government would gain money because they can tax it and they have to pay less prisoners…
Employ less people to catch, try and guard the prisoners.
There is a lot of medicine you could grow in your back yard, but almost no one does it because its a hassle. why would it be different with weed?
The constitution specifies that the federal federal government will make no laws affecting the states, so where’s the constitution?
However, he did hit the nail on the head at the end. Big Pharm has their hands in the pockets of the big government politicians who have the power to control. That is PRECISELY why the policy changed. Their is a little group at the top of the food chain and those billions of dollars just go in circles. They need to keep the cash flowing.
