They hope to stave off the inevitable by a) restricting the vote wherever possible- thus the frenzy over nonexistent ‘voter fraud’ & b) unleashing corporate money through Citizens United & election finance reform rollbacks. The Supremely right wing Court WILL strike down some of the Act & leave a shell to claim they were being judicious and not activist, though they will destroy much case law and precedent to do so
