Corporations are working on getting a firm choke hold on the production and sale on cannabis products, and once they do it will be legal for them to sell it to us, but illegal for us to grow. I think they will ad preservatives and genetically modify the plant so much that the benefits disappear…BTW, there is already a patent held by the federal government… they will sell it to…. hhmmmm maybe Monsanto, wanna make a bet? Those money MoFo’ers don’t want people to be healthy and heal for free.

I wish marijuana was legal so that alcohol wouldn’t be my only choice to alter my consciousness.
When you consider the side effects of prescription drugs for pain compared to Medical Marijuana, I am astounded we are still having these discussions. It’s a gateway to harder drugs? when they are already handing out harder drugs as a substitute pain medication, the gateway really doesn’t mean much.

If my doctor wouldn’t approve, I’d have to find one that did.
I think you yourself have a need to alter you consciousness, being that you are a religious? gay? young man. You got some sort of confusion going on there. and um Brain actually has a GOD given right to alter his consciousness. Some weed can actually lower your sexual desire and make you more spiritual at the same time. So I guess you could pop some pills and get with guys or smoke some weed and get with GOD, your choice…. whether I think or you think you NEED to.

Mormons in the southwest are one particular brand that piss me off. It’s not good enough that they can practice a drug-free religion and raise their children and communities in that regard. They have to force it on everyone else through political power. Their population obviously isn’t prevalent enough in Colorado, but it sure is in Utah.
I recently passed thru the airport in Salt Lake City and knowing I had a 2 hour overlay asked the ticket agent for directions to a nearby bar. He pointed at a utility door across the main passage way and after putting his hand out suggested I ask for Tom and ‘share the wealth’. A few swigs of JD on a cold day in a baggage area was quite nice!

I use marijuana for my PTSD symptoms and pain control. I could of course return to my dozen highly addictive prescriptions that don’t work half as well and live a shortened life span that would be half as pleasant.
