  1. Richard McWolff says:

The addiction counselor at about 1/3 through this is just freaking out for
no reason. Kids have been using weed more than adults via the black market
for a while now but now that it’s being legalized in some states they feel
safer admitting they are using it. Big deal. It’s better than alcohol any
day of the week! It’s not a a drug that leads to more dangerous drug use
for MOST people. I’m sure there are a small percentage of folks whose
addictive personality traits may lead them down other dangerous paths and
as a result will cause those that want cannabis fully controlled again will
use these examples to make their points about their desire with no regard
to the folks that NEED this to hep them deal with a myriad of health
issues. If this is their desire then why are they not lobbying to see
alcohol made illegal? I am a reformed alcoholic, over 22 years sober but
it almost killed me. Liver damage, blood sugar issues and other left over
side effects of abusing alcohol. I’ve been using weed for years now to
help with sleep and stress and my mind works great and I have no desire to
try crack cocaine what so ever. Just makes me laugh with some of these
whack jobs telling folks that have been using it for various reasons they
are on the path to hell and so many other things. Just pure idiots with no
experience in what they are talking about. THEY should be fined for
spreading that sort of misinformation! It’s like some whack job male
republican against a woman’s right to choose telling women they have no
choice. Last time I checked men don’t have uterus’s so they really should
just be quiet and let a woman figure out what’s best for her and her well
being. Same with this sort of medicine, it’s my body so mind your own
business. I know my body better than anyone else. PEACE!

  2. Clifford Fischer says:

“A new economical miracle” no, it’s called legalize to tax. Government
    bullshit.

  3. Jose Mercado says:

6:45 Oh come the fuck on… Are you fucking kidding me?? Let them smoke if
they fuckin want. Theyre not fuckin killing anybody or raping people. Let
them fuckin smoke. Fuckin eating peanuts have killed more god dam people
then bud. Most food today is artificial & will kill you in the long run, &
the government lets all that bullshit happen?? People are fuckin
ridiculous. We simply just want to be able to have fun, & enjoy a couple
stress free hours in a near harmless way with no other side effects but a
great night sleep & an appetite. Is that too much to ask for?

  4. iservesocial says:

OMG! 22 kids on a waiting list who imagine they are addicted to pot? I
think they and that idiot trying to help them need a shrink first and some
    organic healing herb second.

  5. billybassman21 says:

I think the problem is we as a society of focusing too much of weed. If
weed wasn’t in the spot light and available people that never tried it
would never miss it. Too many pot heads feel they have to smoke weed. The
result is a skewed perception on life which can have negative consequences.
Say what you want, but pot heads tend to lack motivation and a drive to be
successful. They have big dreams, but usually don’t act on them.
Furthermore people that are mentally ill may be worst off with weed readily
available. While weed has a place in society it isn’t for everyone or for
    every situation.

  6. Patrick Smith says:

It is illegal for the kids just like alcohol the kids have to realize that
to bad for them wait till your older.

  7. David Crandall says:

Marijuana smokers are more likely to flunk out of college.

  8. matt10342 says:

“Is it getting worse? Our numbers say so.” Sorry to inform you, but your
numbers don’t mean jack shit. There is no need for treatment of a cannabis
addiction. All you need to do is change your behavior. That’s it. It’s not
rocket science, and it certainly doesn’t take a treatment center to do it.
If you can honestly tell me that a cannabis addiction is seriously harmful,
you are an idiot. No, you shouldn’t smoke it everyday. But that’s your
responsibility. When people are treated for alcoholism, it’s not even
considered that it’s because it is legal. That just shouldn’t be considered
with alcohol, and it damn well shouldn’t with weed. What should, is
behavior and responsibility. Whoever sends their kid to a treatment center
for this shit is a failure of a parent. (To the man I quoted) Class
    dismissed jackass.

  9. Dylan Parrott says:

Name one person who’s died from it. No one’s dying from it, the fuck was
    that.

  10. MindSeeR666 says:

That chick in the pink belly top looks pregnant :p

  11. StarcraftAlphaBeta says:

At 8:11, you can see a big rat running in the background.

  12. SirSly420 says:

Wtf ? Dude at 7:00 is a fucking fag (no homophobe) this fool Is a complete
tool and someone needs to cock slap him (no homo) nobody should have to go
to rehab for weed that’s some ignorant ass bullshit .

  13. tek87 says:

More people are not getting addicted to cannabis. People with problems are
coming out now because its legal and they don’t have to worry about getting
    in trouble.

  14. fuflang says:

HAHAHAH “Kids are still dying, parents are still losing their children”
yeah right there are 0 deaths from marijuana “over doeses”

  15. Peter Caulton says:

why are we not seeing anywhere on these types of videos marijuana cookies
promoted which have to be a lot more healthy than smoking? The drug rehab
guy is going on about deaths but as far as I can determine the effects of
Marijuana itself has never killed anybody. Every culture has a drug in it.
Let us stop kidding ourselves and admit our species likes getting high from
    time to time.

  16. mellotaylor22 says:

I think they are making a mistake by glamourizing pot. Its not something to
be glamourized. Its one thing to legalize and its another to hype it up. It
is not healthy to smoke pot, while it may be less harmful than other drugs.
It is not healthy. Do it, just do it quitely.

  17. Justin Evans says:

Kids are dying? WTF is this guy smoking?

  18. Sarah Szabo says:

The thing is, people say that they’re addicted to pot, but you can get
addicted to just about anything. And anything not in moderation will
probably hurt or kill you. I would say that people not being able to
control themselves is really the root of the problem.

  19. Amanda Popp says:

Yea, parents who are against weed and who find their teens smoking weed are
going to send their kids to rehab centers because they don’t understand
that marijuana isn’t physically addictive. THAT’S why this dude has a
waiting list for rehab centers. Not because these kids are dependent and
addicted to it, because their parents think they are.

Ethiopia land crisis, Spying debate, Oil tension Rocky Mountain High –
    Colorado’s Cannabis Boom, USA

  21. olbear303 says:

15:47 now that’s how you fear monger! “kids are dying”

  22. E Lokk says:

Americans couldn’t cut the mustard as the world leader. Too dumb, slow,
and too many lazy women. Too many poorly educated hispanics as well. Now
the govt has legalized drugs. Its like the parent who has given up on their
rebellious child and all they can do is watch the slow spiral downward. I
always used to hear people from other countries say how wasteful Americans
are. Take a look around yourself and see that it is true. Weed is the
pesticide that will kill off the rest of any decent americans that may have
become a factor in this country. That may have become a positive influence.

  23. Starky513 says:

The addiction guy is such a bitch. Holy shit.
Alcohol is more addictive than Cannabis, worry about alcoholics, not
    stoners.

  24. onlinegamers101 says:

kids are not dying from weed you jumped up fucking idiot

  25. Johnny Appleseed says:

Fuck that balded headed guy talking about how bad marijuana is for
teenagers. I’ve been in facility’s like what hes running throughout a good
portion of my young adulthood and those places are abusive and wrong. I was
legally kidnapped for 4 years of my life because of ignorant parents.
Places like that will do much more damage to you mentally than just smoking
a bit of weed every once in a while.

  26. Shane Ownbey says:

Colorado is not going to help themselves or anyone else with drugs. It’s a
democratic idea and it will do more harm than good. 100 to 1

  27. RatDog67 says:

My teen son says he’s addicted to jerking off, HELP!!!!!

  28. contraband100 says:

Cue the sad music at 6:15… oh shit Reefer Madness rising- son of a bitch. I
thought it would be a cool documentary, dislikes notwithstanding, but oh-ho
    no.

Btw, 15:47 boo fucking hoo, prohibitch sycophant.

  29. Factualism4u2 says:

I’m not against legalizing pot. Hell i wish we did sooner but the typical
stoners who make all the ridiculous claims about marijuana… It will be
amusing when their lives come crashing down and they themselves are burned
out and or fighting to make marijuana illegal again because their brain
dead kid wrapped their car around a tree after running over a toddler and
they are now getting sued. Stupidity always catches up with you.

  30. dwc1964 says:

The line at the end about how cannabis legalization leads to “no really
enforceable laws” is exactly bass-ackwards – and it’s informative that he
couldn’t even finish the sentence, because it’s obvious it goes the
    opposite direction.
It’s the “War on Drugs” that leads to lack of respect for the law, because
the law is bullshit and everyone knows it. Same as alcohol Prohibition in
    the 1920s.
Ending prohibition, focusing law enforcement resources towards fighting
real crime, bringing production and distribution within the realm of the
law through licensing and regulation, and dealing with whatever public
health problems might result from abuse of whatever substance (and yes,
cannabis is less harmful than alcohol, by all objective measures), will
lead to *less* lawlessness, and less money in the hands of criminals.

  31. Ryan Syn says:

He has nothing to say about the drunks being drunk and the kids dying then,
it all becomes important to him when marijuana is legalized, exactly my
point. People will have more positive thought rather than violent
tendencies caused by alcohol, it also develops spirituality within ones
self. This is something to be look at as good and a step forward in human
history not something bad. But, BUT everything must be done to a moderation
and that has to be a clear message that has to be spread out. Even a good
thing can become bad as is doing something bad can cause good. Without one
another the other cannot exist. Balance and peace :)

  32. patton303 says:

I love my state. And I love the fact that I’m a responsible suburban father
and husband who, just as easy as buying a pack of gum, bought some edibles
today and now I can fall sleep tonight without a fucking migraine for once
    in my life.
Thank you Amendment 64 and thank you Colorado voters.

  33. Jake Woodard says:

Marijuana Rehabilitation Centers. What the what. And I think I heard him
say that kids were dying due to marijuana? No no no no no. Kids are dying
more due to alcohol abuse than anything else drug related. Not a single
teen has died due to marijuana, but of course it has to remain illegal.
Alcohol is fine though. Goodness gracious.

  34. thank*reason says:

marijuana use is not without risk…marijuana use is not without a benefit.
It’s not black and white. Some people can smoke a little and put it away
with no problems…others start smoking and gradually become more obsessed
with it and less interested in anything else. If this doesn’t apply to you
then just realize I’m not talking about you. Legalizing it means that the
consequences that the government added..will be gone..though it doesn’t
diminish the NATURAL consequences that you may or may not experience. I’m
saying it should be legal…but that’s no reason to make up things about it
or to try to diminish anyone’s struggle with it.

  35. HooptieHamburger says:

Teenagers feel more open to admitting their problems now. That is what made
    the difference.

I have news for some of you. YOU own your body. Nobody else does. That
alone makes prohibition out of the question. The list of other reasons is
extremely long. Don’t try to help people against their will by putting them
in jail. There’s no excuse for it.

  36. ProtectAndServe22 says:

Lol! Marijuana isn’t addictive. I smoked pot from when I was 14 years of
age until I was 20 at least 3 times a week, though mostly it was everyday.
I quit for a few months because a girlfriend I had didn’t like it. It was
easy, there were times when I wanted to get high, like if I had a bad day,
but I just stopped thinking about it and found something to occupy myself
with and I was fine. I have tried to quit smoking cigarettes several times
and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever attempted. I could see some kids
thinking that they’re addicted to pot, but they aren’t. They just need
    something to occupy their time.

  37. SkylineToTheSeaAndMe says:

Aaron Huey @ 16:12 says kids are “still suffering and still dying”, -and I
think that’s crap. Reason being, that it’s already so widely available, and
was long before even medical marijuana. I think the difference will
be negligible. We will just have to open up more for profit (conflict of
interest) treatment centers like his. Is there going to be a slightly
increased negative social cost to society and kids? Possibly, -but I think
overall it will be a net gain; -for the myriad of [new] medical uses, for
the research that will be done, for the tax revenue, to increase the middle
class (after this recession), for environmental and sustainability reasons,
to get us off of petroleum, and, it’s possibly the only thing that can get
us out of our huge national debt. I am not talking only about Cannabis for
medicinal or recreational use so much, but rather creating the largest hemp
industry in the world, as our founding fathers guided us to do; a large
hemp industry as we once had, that allowed things like Henry Ford’s hemp
    plastic car.

  38. Thou Shalt Obey says:

I guess pot could be as addictive as chocolate, but I doubt it because
chocolate is way harder to say no to than pot.

  39. helloman1976 says:

My wife and I went to the Cannibis Cup this year in Denver, it was amazing.
You got to see the future of Marijuana legalization in America. It was very
impressive. The shops were very professional and well priced. Ounces were
going for around $200 to $300 and concentrates were something like $30 for
a 1/2 gram of wax or shatter. Prices were great, the products were amazing.
If you get the brownies with 100mg in them be careful, start out with 1/4
and we ate them on an empty stomach. We did half each on an empty stomach
and it was extremely strong and lasted for about 30 hours lol so be warned.
Fantastic trip and we plan on going back every year!

  40. teeznutz0 says:

The Drug rehabilitation Clinic guy looks like a child molester.

  41. answertotodayis1776 says:

How long until it’s legal in other states? Are any other states voting on
    legalizing it this year?

  42. Tfmusicmaker says:

In my opinion if you drink, smoke cigarettes, cigars, or do any narcotics
legal or otherwise you should shut your hypocritical mouth about mj.
Marijuana is a good plant that helps a lot of people. Even if you do it
recreationally its still better than the above listed. alcohol and tobacco
is crap in my book anyways. I get by with out any of it.

  43. TheAcidPhosphate says:

Nobody is addicted to pot, come on. Of course people are going to want to
do things that makes them feel good, and yeah to much of a good thing can
be bad for people with no self control, but nobody has a PHYSICAL
dependency on weed. And nothing bad is going to come from smoking pot
except maybe spending too much money on pot. The only people going to rehab
for pot are kids who’s parents freaked out about them smoking weed because
they grew up in an age that was very ignorant to the substance.

  44. Cris M says:

lol thats funny 6:45 you cant get addicted to marijuana

  45. Mr. Mars Experience says:

as soon as i heard the phrase
“addicted to marijana” i was done… thumbs down

  46. Graham Rique says:

This vid lost ALL credibility at the mention of marijuana “addicts”.

  47. Chane Norris says:

funny this doc wants to focus on teens using, but no one talk about teens
drinking, no one has their heart stop from smoking too much… absolutely
no evidence that MJ has any negative effect, teens get drunk and kill
people with a car everyday, MJ related accidents are extraordinarily low in
comparison. 16:05 kids are dieing, what a load of shit, no one has ever
    died from MJ consumption.

  48. Lou Montana says:

    YOU NEED TO VOTE!!!!
If we do not vote out Right Wing Conservative Republicans the state of
Colorado will go into drastic reverse. Conservatives hide behind American
Patriotism, Gun Rights and Christianity. They claim to believe in personal
freedom but they want to tell you how to live and where to live. If they
are allowed to succeed America will become Nazi Germany. Conservatives will
search public records, interrogate and seek out people who do not believe
as they do and dispose of them. Do not think this will not happen.

Preserve your right to have the freedom of choice and VOTE against the
Right Wing Conservative distruction of YOUR FREEDOM!

  49. CoreysConscience says:

Addicted?! Dumbest shit I have ever heard!

  50. sco bra says:

Bullshit, it’s been medically proved beyond all scientific doubt that
marijuana has NO PHYSICAL ADDICTION capabilities whatsoever. However, its
so popular that the mental addiction side of it can be a problem.
