why not use isopropyl alcohol or everclear to disolve any excess butane and then filter again and cook off the alchohol you will be left with a pure oil that’ll be shattery and give you denser bigger dabs 🙂 to each his own but it seems a little more efficient than the water purge method. i thought you were just adding the water to make it oily 😛 if that was the case hexane would be your best bet.
