Great choice Jon! This was recorded in 1980 as a kind of *Blackbird 2* (Beatles). I did not like it at all back then, but nowadays, it gives me another dimension! Thanks your for sharing your great video!

Very tasteful. I especially like the rhythmic use of the four quarter panels

I went to Best Buy yesterday and picked up John Hiats 24/96 disc. I didn’t know that you could get You Tube through Direct T.V., shows you what I know. Maybe some of the customers have 5.1 channel systems. I am not sure if D.T.V. has a patch for that. I wonder if you can get high resolution through that also? Maybe we can get some of the tech heads to start working on an APP for that. That would be good, then I wouldn’t feel so bad about the money I plunked down. Maybe quality still has a place?

I know exactly what you mean, Johmathan! Any serious Macca fan is in for an absolute shock at the depth and clarity of the Archive remasters….like listening to the music for the first time!
Speaking of EC, his debut was one of those albums where I can almost remember exactly the place and time when I first heard it! I’m a HUGE fan of his work and want to try something with a few tracks I’ve been thinking about spread through the first 3 albums. Thanks so much for another wonderful comment!

I had a room mate. His name was Joe. Joe was one of those lucky fellows who had the gift of music. He could just pick up any instrument and play it.One day I brought Elvis Costello’s first album home from the library.I started to play it and Joe enthusiastically said who is this.I said the name and he replied that he never heard of him.I replied I am somewhat jealous, for you have virgin ears to this.Right now I am Joe and I am loving this.I have been picking up the Concord remasters.New Ears=FUN.
